Project Manager - Supply Chain Development (OWGP)

We are recruiting a PROJECT MANAGER – SUPPLY CHAIN DEVELOPMENT (OWGP) to deliver Offshore Wind Growth Partnership’s (OWGP) supply chain growth funding and business support programmes, managing up to £4m of funding per year.
This role is hybrid and can be based anywhere within travel distance of one of our UK offices.
The Offshore Wind Growth Partnership (OWGP) was established as part of the Offshore Wind Sector Deal in 2019. OWGP is a long-term business transformation programme with a ten-year budget of £100m to support UK offshore wind supply chain companies to grow through increased competitiveness. ORE Catapult is contracted to deliver the OWGP programme so the successful candidate will be an ORE Catapult employee on full-time secondment to OWGP.
What will I do?
- Scope, plan and execute funding competitions
- Deliver online and in-person briefing presentation on the funding programmes
- Manage agreements and delivery partners
- Proactively manage change and risks
- Monitor and report project progress
- Set and monitor budgets for programmes under responsibility
- Manage relationships with beneficiary companies
- Ensure all projects and programmes are closed out effectively
- Communicate project updates to both internal and external stakeholders
- Develop and implement effective project management practices to support overall programme
- Represent OWGP at external meeting and events
What are we looking for?
- Have/working towards recognised project management certificate or diploma
- Degree or equivalent experience
- Proven project management experience within a relevant industry e.g. Energy, Aerospace, Automotive
- Experience of developing programme management tools and templates
- Excellent report writing and presentation skills
- Keen interest and understanding of offshore wind and supply chain
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
